Important note: If you sign-up a child for one or more of PTA after-school enrichment programs, 
you MUST complete this form to notify your child’s teacher. Send this completed form to school with your child.

Panda Programmer

Grades: K - 5
Cost: $209
Day: Mondays

No computer experience necessary. We supply the computers (one per student). Student learn structured programming, how to make games, animations, etc. We learn coding on Scratch and Scratch Jr. platforms.

Yoga

Grades: K - 5

Yoga is an ancient healing practice known to calm the body, mind, and emotions. In this playful yoga class designed especially for elementary aged-children, children will learn yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve concentration, and give children the tools to manage stress in their daily lives. Games, stories, and music will be incorporated into this fun, non-competitive class. Children should bring their own yoga mat to class.

Soccer

Grades: K-5
Cost: $135 plus a $25 enrollment fee

Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication.

STEM After School: 

Grades: K-5
Cost: $200
Day: Tuesday
Time: 3:35-4:35
Length: 10-weeks
Beginning: September 25

​Robotics/Wheels/Axle/Levers/Pulleys/Gears: Youth explore the state-of-the-art field of autonomous robotics as they work in teams to build, program and redesign autonomous robots. They are introduced to electrical circuit theory, electrical component, programmable microcontroller interfacing, servo motors, photoresistors, infared sensors and transmitters. Learn about different types of machines and how they function to make work easier.

Chess Club

Grades: K – 5
Cost: $210 (discounted to $200 if received before Sept. 7th)
Day: Wednesdays
Time: 3:30-4:30
Length: 8-weeks

Chess Club is taught by experienced Silver Knights instructors using a curriculum certified by National Masters. In Chess Club, students learn rules, develop strategies, and practice with peers. Students will learn all about the chess pieces and chess board at a gentle pace, adding details bit by bit as they accumulate all the knowledge necessary to play a full game of chess.

Get your swing on! Players will learn hitting techniques of forehands, backhands, volleys, serves and strategy while having fun through confidence-building drills and games. Activities will include footwork agility, breakout, racket relay, froggie volley, and many more!

Lego

Kids are already naturally gifted creators. Then they get added inspiration from our specially trained instructors. They dive into our massive collections of LEGO®. And while they build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, they explore fundamental principles of engineering and physics. They also learn to collaborate and create without fear of mistakes. The experience is joyful, the impact long-lasting.

Experimentamania!

Experimentamania! is a cornucopia of experiments! Children will uncover the vital role that science plays in detective work, examine the science behind popular toys and get a buzz out the amazing world of insects! Your Mad Scientists will explore Earth Science, weather phenomena, and experiment with some kitchen chemistry. Children will build their own Mad Science Machine, and create their very own short animated cartoon!

Performing Arts

Grades: 1-5

Beginning: September 28

A fun, collaborative, performance-based arts program leading children to explore theater and the performing arts. In performing arts club, children will collaborate to: practice acting techniques/write scripts/design costumes/build sets and props. Performing arts club dives into the history of theatre, different kinds of theatre, stage directions, projection, blocking, improvisation and performing dialogue. Children participate in fun theatre games, drama exercises, and technique warm ups that build towards the creation and performance of an invited guest show!
