Panda Programmer

No computer experience necessary. We supply the computers (one per student). Student learn structured programming, how to make games, animations, etc. We learn coding on Scratch and Scratch Jr. platforms.

Young Chefs
Grades: K - 5

Young Chefs, brought to you by Creative Enrichment, provides a unique interactive cooking experience for students grades K-5th grade. Young Chefs teaches children the joys of cooking, basic cooking ingredients, nutrition, and the accomplishment of creation. Our Young Chefs will work together to prepare fun, delicious, nut-free recipes. We explore how chefs use math, science, creative art, history, language arts to create the food we eat. At the end of the cooking program,each child will go home with a Young Chef’s Recipe Book, featuring all the
scrumptious recipes we prepared in class.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is a high-energy dance form that uses the latest sounds in rap, R&B, and pop music, and is perfect for boys and girls who love to move! This fun-filled class immerses students in all aspects of motion, developing
their balance, coordination and strength, as well as promoting creativity, teamwork, and self-esteem. We use child-friendly music in all of our Hip Hop classes (often Kids Bop), and all movement is age-appropriate. As
always, classes this session will feature new music and choreography. Parents are invited to join us on the last day of class for a Parent’s Day performance.

Yoga is an ancient healing practice known to calm the body, mind, and emotions. In this playful yoga class designed especially for elementary aged-children, children will learn yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve concentration, and give children the tools to manage stress in their daily lives. Games, stories, and music will be incorporated into this fun, non-competitive class. Children should bring their own yoga mat to class.

Running Club

Get your fitness on! Students will learn proper running technique and work towards achieving distance goals while having fun through confidence-building drills and games. Activities will include footwork agility, relays, rainbow tag, flag tag, cat and mouse, scarf race, and many more as we run 4 fun!

Young Rembrandts

There's no better way to get a jump on spring than with our fun Young Rembrandts cartoon class. Your student will be exposed tot he excitement of drawing and animating dinosaur expressions and funny anime characters. These drawings will delight our students as they learn how to draw dynamic figures and action-filled scenes. Your funny bone will be tickled when you see the humorous, floral-inspired personas created in our flower characters lesson. And we'll have an enormous amount of fun as we draw cartoon animals of all shapes and sizes doing their favorite hobbies. Sign up today!

Zany Brainy Science

Join us for all new experiments! We take an investigative approach to introducing young learners to the magical world of science. In class we'll perform intriguing, hands-on experiments as we gain science and math knowledge, cultivate curiosity, and build universal cognitive and social-emotional skills!

Build a robot! Write code! Engineer! Students engage with digital technology and collaborative project management to design and build their own robot. Robots include a SmartHub, motor, sensors, and are operated by a tablet or phone. Students learn to use gears and pulleys to program robots that move, crank, spin, and communicate.

NASA: Academy of Future Space Explorers by Mad Science
Cost: $102
Day: Fridays

Length: 6 weeks
Beginning: April 26 (registration deadline April 11)

NASA-approved and endorsed, this program takes children on a tour of the universe! Participants will continue their explorations at home with fascinating information and take-homes. Children will learn about space travel, energy, dry ic, space technology, living in space, motion, and planets and moons.
